Today we left Buffalo for Palmyra, NY and more church sites. The Hill Cumorah was fantastic. Such a calm, peaceful spirit there. We all enjoyed climbing to the top.
At the Sacred Grove, we again enjoyed walking the trails. We learned from yesterday and opted out of the guided tours.
As our apartment in Middlebury won't be ready until tomorrow, we are spending tonight in Johnstown, NY. Our place is a brand-new Microtel and a great improvement. Tomorrow we'll take a short drive to Middlebury.

Oh my goodness, you staying in Johnstown? That's where my dad was born and where we went to visit my grandparents until they died. I know you just stayed overnight- but, wow, what a coincidence. It's not a very big place.
